Bred last year from Mima Walker x Betty Dale

This was a plant taken from a whole tray of plants raised from hand crossed seed (2012) planted directly into the soil, and this method of planting by tipping the whole tray out intact ,and then selecting any of merit following first flowers seems to have worked.

I was very pleased, when I saw the first colour of the bloom opening ,so removed the plant from the others , and potted it up

Earlier blooms did not show expected promise when they opened fully, but as the season has gone on then it has improved, and I have some basal, and side shoots rooted from the stock plant already.

Second attachment refers showing possible basal shoots to use for more cuttings.

I have also used the pollen from it placing it onto Lesley Keay and Helen Cochrane ,both my favourite Exhibition violas at present.
