National Viola and Pansy Society weekly post – A seeding of hope and one of rejection

A couple of new seedling first flowers from 2013 crosses.

The first is an exhibition viola of a new colour whilst the second is a mongrel show pansy with the outer colour of John Rodger ( a famous white belted show pansy) whilst the inner has a mixture of Tom (another famous yellow belted show pansy) sadly this combination will not be accepted on the Society’s show bench as it does not conform to the strict judging criteria regarding colour.

During very hot summer sun? It might change and be ok.
