With fallen apple leaves on top of the plant ,first attachment , and then the same plant clear.
Leaves need clearing almost on a daily basis to allow light, and prevent any problems.
Checking as often as this also gives early warning against aphids ,and the general health/needs of each one.
As arguably the most famous sweet pea grower ever, the late B.R.JONES used to say” you need to live with your plants to succeed” .This advice applies to all types of plants when grown for perfection I am sure.
Lots of older leaves are yellowing on the plants, but I will give them a spring clean, when new growth seen, in February.
