The stopping of growth in late summer has resulted in a multitude of new shoots from the centre of Mima Walker.
The second shows a sunken pot of Rebecca with all but one old shoots removed.
This is more drastic than the first attachment but the plant looks fine ready to explode into growth in April.
Both are looking stocky and healthy currently but severe weather to come may halt any further development.
It is the east winds that they hate in the earlier part of next year but being so low to the ground might be an advantage rather than the ones in the tubs. (these have been tilted forward to drain excess water from the inbuilt reservoir in each pot.)
