Leaving things to NATURE .

I was tidying up some Gladys’s Hughes (Exhibition Fancy Pansy ) when I accidently tugged a little harder than I intended.

A stem came away and the resulting emergence of many basal rooted new stems appeared.

The first attachment shows me holding the stopped stem in finger and thumb with SIX shoots . The second shows another unstopped main stem with flower nearly open right at the top of the picture and further shoots this time from the stem.

They have been left intact and potted up into two pots to see whether at a later stage they can be separated following some more growth from these tiny future plants to be.
