One plant of a Mima Walker an Exhibition viola pot grown

This is ,as far as I am aware the only viola (FLORIST TYPE) available commercially , (see suppliers of plants page on this website)and one that most novice exhibitors start with.

The strange thing about this flower is that there are two different shades of colours recognized by exhibitors- one called the Scottish Mima Walker and the other called the Birmingham Mina Walker.

Either type is still the easiest to grow for exhibition and unlike nearly all Florist types (bred for show work only)make stunning garden plants in soil or pots.
