Three ways of increasing plant stock

Illustrated are three ways one can increase stock, by seed, rooted slips (Irishman’s cuttings) or cuttings.

Picture 1 ( an update on a previous post ) is of seedling (human crossed) Fancy Pansy’s plus an exhibition viola seedling, a bit like the picture quiz of  where’s W……, but if you look carefully  , first row- bottom left-you may notice the viola leaf shape.

The other seedlings have fancy pansy leaf types.

Picture 2 is an update  – new shoots with roots, detached from the outer edge of tufted plants,in  the main, and potted straight up.

Finally picture 3 is an update of( Rockwool cuttings) (earlier post refers)

The three different types all have their pros and cons.
