Greenfly killers-A troop of ladybirds discussing plan of action in Oxon garden

Whilst checking  pansy’s and violas in the  garden I noticed this collection of 13 ladybirds, I hope that they survive, but as they must have come through three weeks of up to minus 17 in the open then I think that they should be o.k.

The second photo shows ,perhaps, how the greenhouse and wooden fence might give them some protection.

Some of the plants in the garden have ladybirds, alive, in the crown of the plants- where one would expect green fly to be present.

If gardeners are observant then little gems like this can be discovered.
