A misty cold morning in Oxfordshire on November 15th

This is a shot of a revamped, slightly, raised beds.

The bottom two, now much higher than before,  will be the keepers of the pots of bedding violas, pansys etc on the left and middle long beds.

These long beds will be raised by inclusion of split log rolls shortly.

A previous post shows them much shallower soil wise, in making a purpose built patio in dappled shade for the violas next year I used all the top soil from the new patio site instead of “skipping it”

For anyone of an inquisitive nature:-

The red bags-ex summer 2010 tomatoes, and cut off barrels on the right raised bed and behind, are planted with home saved garlic, mulched with my saved worm compost, now about two inches high.

On the 15th the lowest temp was minus 6 as it was today.
