This shot is of the raised bed where most of the stock plants have been residing for the last three years.
Problem is that site is too exposed to heat of the mid day summer sun.
New area going to be used next year in dappled shade, the pots have been move to raised beds in the distance, but most now have new homes in Cornwall with Mal Francis-see CONTACT page on this site.
Still taking cutting from younger plants possibly to take young potted plants of the Florist type, to the society’s AGM in April – proceeds going to Society funds.-these would be suitable for new members to compete in the Summer show’s novice class.
At the AGM it is hoped that we might encourage members to try raising their own seedlings by giving a demonstration of crossing, and providing some free FI seeds of florist and other types.
Details of AGM in April can be provided by contacting Society treasurer ,details on CONTACT page of this website.
