Irishman’s cuttings(common name)

An example of how you can obtain new plants within days without the lengthy delay  of  normal cuttings.

These were taken-fingers under ball of plant deep, and then careful pulling upwards to obtain shoot with small roots, placed into  seed/cutting compost (home base)  and given protection to avoid wilting for three days, gentle watering-from below and then leaving cover off and outside of garage (in shade and cool) today- 8 days from leaving stock plant.

To get to this stage with normal cutting about 12 weeks.

Will keep taking shots in weeks to come to hopefully show development and flowers-though not winter flowering as such florist cultivars will bloom right through the winter in a greenhouse.

Will post a picture of one in flower on Christmas day tomorrow.
